On May 19, 2026, Genie Max was used for the first time in a clinical setting to support a self-expanding TAVR implant on an 83 year old woman with challenging anatomy. The case was performed by Stephen Kidd MD, an Interventional Cardiologist at CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Dr. Kidd commented “The sheath performed flawlessly, hemostasis was excellent and passing of the Evolut valve was easy with the “set it and forget it” hemostatic valve design.”
